How?

There are two main types of ads on FAVsmile. General banners on the site that target every user and profile banners that target the user based on question. Any banners can be localized down to a single or multiple postal codes or as general as a state, country or every user.

The possibilities of true target marketing are truly endless!

First, determine what ad location and who you want to target. Every user? A single Zip Code? Where to place your ad? Front page? On the profile questions? The group list? The page locations and banner sizes are listed below.

*****The priorities of ads are...postal code first, than state than country than every user. For example, If company ABC placed an ad for the question “what is your favorite beer” for postal code 33404, and company DEF placed an ad for the same question for every user in the state of Florida, and company GHI placed an ad for the same question for every user on the site. The users in 33404 would see company ABC’s advertisement. All users in Florida, except users in 33404 would see company DEF’s advertisement. And all users except Florida and zip 33404 would see company GHI’s advertisement.******

Second, decide how long you want your ad to run?

A simple duration contract provides advertisers with a sense of security. Common online advertising methods such as, PPC (pay per click) have many disadvantages. Including but not limited to; an advertiser can quickly run out of money if the ad is clicked to many times and PPC fraud is still an issue. With a guaranteed ad space on FAVsmile, an advertiser will know how long and where his ad will be. Plus an ad can be changed as many times as they desire over their set contract duration. For example, if store XYZ is running a weekend sale, a 2 month contract doesn’t make sense. However, if they run their ad for a week prior and during the weekend sale, they can easily have their ads changed once the sale is over and keep their ad space until their contract is over.

Third, Design your own banner ad. (Or have we can design it together!)

You can make it as simple or detailed as you desire, the process is quick and simple. You can design it using your own software or use a free banner making site on the web. (Such as, www.mybannermaker.com) Once you finish your design, attach the HTML code into an email and send it to us.

Make sure the banner is the proper size to the ad you desire and the links to your website are included.

Last, submit your ad!

Email us at advertise@favsmile.com. Include in this email your contact information, company information, your desired ad location, ad duration and attach or include the HTML code of your banner. Once we receive your request, we will review your ad and make sure the ad space is available. We will then promptly contact you with pricing and availability information. At that point you will need to sign and agree to our contract and advertising terms & conditions.

Once completed your ad is posted and you have the location you want, attracting the market you want and the ad space is yours until the end of your contract! No more worries!
